RIZA Call for proposals

Open call a cascata (sostegno finanziario a terzi) del progetto UE RIZA: Building European Democracy with Women of Migrant Descent (RIZA), finanziato dal programma Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme (CERV). Stato: aperta. Prossima scadenza: 31/10/2026 (multiple cut-off). Testo ufficiale (in inglese): Rooted in the EU founding principles of human dignity, freedom and democracy, RIZA’s main mission is to build capacity of and provide financial support to small-scale grassroots NGOs across the EU to uphold, protect and promote EU values and fundamental rights, focussing on those in most isolated circumstances with least access to resources and opportunities, i.e. migrant and refugee women. With 3 rounds of funding in total (2025, 2026 and 2027), this 2nd RIZA call has a regional focus on the Southern-Mediterranean states (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Malta) in which the organisations in the region are particularly encouraged to apply, however, RIZA funding is open to any qualified organisations established in any EU members state. The call is open to the following organisations, Tier 1 constituting the priority group among the potential grantees: Tier 1: Migrant and/or refugee women led organisations with a human right based mission.
